The Problem
The NBA has always had an avid following but engagement in their mobile applications did not reflect this behavior. Why? Each application was templated, all of the same functionality set with a different skin to reflect that specific team. When it came to game-center, player stats and plays the content and data was lacking. These applications were also in need of affiliate tie-ins and gamification to drive more user engagement and overall profit.
My Process
A winning pitch, this current application is in development with the goal 60% more application downloads. The gamification element partnering with a rewards program will use geo-tracking to account for game attendance or viewing.
